  • The development of modern hijab fashion in Indonesia can not be separated from the figure of Dian Pelangi which are the Muslim fashion designer and a fashion blogger. Through her personal blog, Dian Pelangi started to introduce the public about the modern of Muslim fashion which is more varied, unique, and fashionable. Then the extremely fast development of this fashion hijab is utilized by many parties for profit, including Dian Pelangi herself. Focus of this research was to examine the form of religion commodification contained in the blog "Brain Beauty Belief" belonging to Dian Pelangi. Reason for sel ection the object of this research is because not only sharing about the hijab, Dian Pelangi also conducts promotional activities on the results of her fashion brand and other famous brand. Results from this research indicate that there is a practice of religion commodification within blog "Brain Beauty Belief". This is indicated by a change of function value from the hijab. At first hijab is used as a cover genitalia for Muslim women, now it turned into a way for seeking profit
