  • HIV/AIDS is a disease that is now becoming a social problem that should be shared by alldtanganu parties because they are increasingly growing day. One of the effort in tacking the deadly virus outbreaks is to establish cooperation with Non-Government Organization (NGOS. One of the NGOS that were moved to play an active role do prevention of the sread of the virus in SOLo was a Mitra Alam NGOS. As the institution that paid attention to the development of community-oriented activities at the service of society vulnerable without profit, NGOS are doing a lot of activities on a variety of programs with emphasis on the communication procces. Bssed on this, keep in mind the social marketing communication strategy (program) conducted an NGOS partner of nature in tackling HIV/AIDS in Solo.The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy of marketing communication program used by NGO in takcling HIV/AIDS in Solo. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach to the types of deskriptive research in this study, the athors focus on strategy research conducted by NGO.The result of this research show that the NGO in carrying out social marketing communications strategy emphasezes the principle of development of marketing plan includes the strategy of product, place, price, promotion, partnership and policy. Mitra Alam select to develop strategies product as a measure of its succes. This is done by creating a program that is creative and interesting as wll as improve the quality of field officers who owned
