- This study is the developmental researh. The purpose of this study is obtain of mathematics learning tools with problem-solving learning model to enhance creative thinking skills of students with valid and effective. Learning devices, developed are (1) Syllabus, (2) Learning Implementation Plan, (3) Student Book, (4) Student Worksheet, and (5) Creative Thinking Ability Test. Learning tool development refers to the type of development model 4-D (Four D Model) proposed Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel a modified consisting of four stages. The fourth stage is the stage of defining (define), the design stage (design), stage of development (develop) and the phase spread (disseminate). The population are research class VII are the student of MTs Miftahul Falah school year 2009/2010. The samples randomly selected into two from classes. The result of the development is experimentally tested with the dependent variable in the form of test results of creative thinking learning skills and creative activities of students the independent variables. The data analysis technique is a descriptive statistical analysis are: (1) learning completeness test (One Sample T Test), (2) vs Test (Indepandent Sample T Test. The device is said to effective learning, (1) the ability of creative thinking of students achieving mastery that is an average of 65.43 over 60, (2) There is a difference between creative thinking ability of an experimental class with the control class. It seems that the mean value of creative thinking ability test experimental class 65.43 is better than the mean value of creative thinking ability test control class 60.97, (3) Activities of student influence ability to think creative of 31.3%.
