in the year of 2005, from 160.876 families which exist in rembang regency 99.068 (61,58%) families are catagorized into non prosporous families i, 14.430 (8,96%) families are catagorized into prosperous families II, 26.119 (16,23 %) familieas are catagorized into presperous families III, and 5,186 (3,22%) families are catagorized into prosperous familes III plus. there are same factors which cause the proverty and undervelopment of rembang regency if compared with other regencies in central java. they are low education level, basis health level is not available in the infrastructure is limited. to overcame non prosperous familiar (poor families, the goverment in rembang regency and the societies have to work together to overacome the problem by planning the development which is oriented in exploiting the societies especially in education, health and infrastructure
