- Writing is considered the difficult thing to do by the students. They have to share the ideas and connect one clause to another clause. Writing skripsi is not difference from other scientific writing as many things should be considered. In the end of the skripsi, the students have to write conclusion that containing the summary of the skripsi. This study focuses on the analysis and the implication of clauses complexes produced by the students. The writers analyzed the conclusion of skripsi written by the students of English Education Department of Muria Kudus University in April 2017 graduation period. The design of the research is descriptive qualitative which aims at investigating the text written by the students. The data source of this research is the conclusion of skripsi written by the students of English Education Department of Muria Kudus University in April 2017 graduation period. The result of this research shows that the students produced 243 clauses complexes consisting 144 parataxis and 160 hypotaxis. So, they produced more dependent clause than independent clauses in their conclusion of skripsi. This research hopefully gives contribution to English Education Department especially for the students that they need to develop their writing and they have to consider about the cohesion and coherence of the text.
