- Phenomena that exist today shows that social problems and life rolereligious quite thick felt . This study aims to determine the root causes of socio-religious in Indonesia , knowing the role of religious life in Indonesia in dealing with social issues - religious , see if religious values have become part of the religion , and to empirically examine the differences in perception between faculty and rolereligious students about life in Indonesia in socio - cultural perspective . Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to faculty and students are chosen at random at the University of Muria Kudus . Descriptive analysis of qualitative data to explain the descriptive data obtained from academic information about : social and environmental issues in Indonesia , the role of religious life in Indonesia in addressing social and environmental issues , and whether religious values have become part of the culture . The results of the descriptive analysis of socio - religious roots of the problem in Indonesia is poor value system , nature and poor understanding of religion . The underlying factor is education and experience specific operational lecturer . Average perception of lecturers is 2.2098 , which means it does not agree that religious life in the socio- cultural perspective has been very good at Indosesia . While the average perception of students is 3.1581 , suggests the answer is quite a role
