The fifth semester students of English Education Department having rich vocabulary but they still do not know when and how to use the words appropriately. Students need media as a tool to learn and improved their vocabulary mastery. In this millennial era students should take the benefit of the technology which means social media. One of social media that popular among students is Instagram. There are a lot of English content creators on Instagram. One of English content creator that popular among students is @gurukumrd, it shared the video contents about vocabulary and English. &#xD; The aim of this research is to know the students&#x2019; perceptions toward @gurukumrdInstagram account to learn English vocabulary and to find out how students&#x2019; perception on @gurukumrd in terms of advantages and disadvantages of learning English vocabulary through Instagram. This study use descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the fifth semester students of English Education Department of Muria Kudus University. The researcher used questionnaire to collect the data. The technique to analyze the data by calculating the percentage of each statement and interpreted the result. Afterward the researcher classified based on category. &#xD; The result of this research showsthe students&#x2019; perception toward @gurukumrdInstagram account was positive, because students can learn practically and independently. While, the advantages of @gurukumrdwas help students improved vocabulary mastery, easy to understand, contains interesting contents, motivated, improved students vocabulary mastery. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of @gurukumrdrequired much internet data. &#xD; To help students improved their vocabulary mastery, students can use @gurukumrdInstagram account as learning media.
