- Abstract - Development in technology make computer system evolved. These developments have broad impact on all sectors, including in the field of education. With reference to the school's academic information services SMS (Short Message Service) to support the achievement of a more advanced education. Chosen communication technology in the form of SMS is due to the more practical, inexpensive, and efficient to deliver informasi.Short message service (SMS) technology is very much in demand and used by many in the community. Besides being superior in terms of practicality and ease of use so the idea to make a SMS Gateway System which can provide information services in the field of education in SDN Tulakan III. Operating system running on the gateway SMS Auto Respond systems that can receive SMS and can automatically reply to the SMS. In this case provides facilities for student grades and presence. The main objective of this research is making Information Systems student presence and academic grades based sms gateway. Methods adopted to implement the authors observation, interviews, literature study, analysis and design of Information Systems Information Systems continue to manufacture value-based academic and student presence sms gateway. The results of this study is to provide convenience for the parents to know the value and presence son / daughter in school and makes it easy for the school in the delivery of student grades and presence to the parents of students. Keywords: Information Systems academic value, SMS Gateway Abstrak - Perkembangan dunia teknologi membuat sistem komputer ikut berkembang. Perkembangan ini berdampak luas pada semua sektor, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Dengan mengacu pada pelayanan informasi akademik sekolah SMS (Short Message Service) guna mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan yang lebih maju. Dipilihnya teknologi komunikasi dalam bentuk SMS ini dikarenakan lebih praktis, murah, dan efisien untuk menyampaikan informasi.Short message service (SMS) adalah teknologi yang sangat banyak diminati dan digunakan oleh banyak kalangan masyarakat. Selain karena unggul dari segi kepraktisan dan kemudahan dalam penggunaannya maka timbul gagasan untuk membuat Sistem SMS Gateway yang dapat memberikan pelayanan informasi di bidang pendidikan di SDN Tulakan III. Operasi yang berjalan pada sistem SMS gateway ini Auto Respond sistem yang dapat menerima SMS dan dapat membalas SMS tersebut secara otomatis. Dalam hal ini memberikan fasilitas untuk nilai dan presensi siswa. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah pembuatan Sistem Informasi nilai akademik dan presensi siswa berbasis sms gateway. Metode yang diambil penulis yaitu dengan melaksanakan observasi, wawancara, Studi kepustakaan, Analisis dan perancangan Sistem Informasi dilanjutkan dengan Pembuatan Sistem Informasi nilai akademik dan presensi siswa berbasis sms gateway. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan kemudahan bagi orang tua siswa untuk mengetahui nilai dan presensi putera/puterinya di sekolah serta memberikan kemudahan bagi pihak sekolah dalam penyampaian nilai dan presensi siswa kepada orang tua siswa.
