Daftar Isi:
- The actuality of 45 journals (pharmacy/chemistry titles with a broad range of impact factors and from different publishers) in three major abstract databases - Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), and Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) - is evaluated. To facilitate the comparison of journals with different publishing frequency, an easy method for standardization the databases' gap between the published and the last indexed issue is reported. When comparing the results of this snapshot, CAS proves to be the fastest database for pharma and chemistry titles (average delay of 3.62 weeks per journal), followed by Scopus (3.96 weeks); far behind appears WoS (6.55 weeks).
