- This paper is a proposal for the deployment of a highly cherished tool in academic libraries: an easy to keep up-to-date union catalog for scientific journal collections. Since the presentation of this paper, the catalog has been successfully rendering services at http://carpc.uns.edu.ar and has involved the partial collections of journals of 17 contributing libraries. The catalog, in this new version, includes links to the Electronic Library of SECYT, thus providing connection to the full text versions of some titles.
