- This paper concerns the relationship between public relations and the academic libraries. The need for public relations in an academic library along with the relationship between marketing and public relations. The most popular techniques of public relations, which can be used by an academic librarian, are being evaluated. There are also several services that could be provided for people outside the academic community that is into the local community. At the end we could see the effectiveness of public relations in the academic libraries.
