- In November 1998 Heal-link signed the first license agreement for electronic access to Elsevier's publications through ScienceDirect. Five years later, all members of HEAL-link (the Consortium of the Greek Academic Libraries) cancelled all their print subscriptions to 13 major publishers and moved to electronic. The access to the information is now provided only online. Five years after the first agreement we can evaluate the benefits of the collaboration within Greek Academic and Research Libraries and plan a strategy for access to scientific information in the years to come.
