- The universities must adapt every day to the fast changes that demands the Information and Knowledge Society with the purpose of continuing supporting and contributing to the development of the society and the market. Nevertheless, this adaptation- that implies a process of information, formation and social appropriation- when not appearing in the same way for all the groups populations (differentiated impact), demands, for the case of the education and specifically of the universities: a suitable formation of its students in different levels, considering its profiles, so that this one is a significant appropriation; in addition to, a constant labor and professional preparation of its professors, investigators, employees and directors, who allow these groups of a university community, in parallel form: To face problematic the present ones of the “Infodiluvio” (Excess of the information), the Asymmetry of the Information, the Digital Divide and the Information Illiteracy; To acquire the "technological skills and informative abilities" (information literacy) necessary to take advantage of the new technologies.
