- This articles was written in 2006 for the 50th anniversary of funding Middle East Technical University. It describes the evolution of the library from physical collections to electronic journals and open accces e-thesis archives. The library was founded as the first central campus library in Turkey and had a big impact on the scholars and librarians of the country over the last fifty years.
