- The authors present a summary of the results obtained from a survey made to members of the professional association SEDIC in 2006. Data are analyzed with the aim of identifying origin and needs on continuous formation, labour and professional situation, different profiles in the profession and degree of job satisfaction of SEDIC members. The results are compared with the survey made in the same association in 2001, with the aim of drawing conclusions to improve our knowledge on the labour and professional situation in the sector of the Information Science in Spain.
