- The aim of this presentation is, on the one hand, to give a global vision of the current state of the scholarly communication, with particular emphasis in the development of the open accessmovement together with the analysis of the knowledge, participation and attitudes of the investigators with regard to the same one. The open access movement has experienced an enormous growth, in the latter years, spreading the idea of access opened for scientific publications in more wide form, supported on an increase in the number of projects and initiatives financed with public funds linked with the topic.
