- The gathering together of written material is as important as the transfer of it to the coming generations. This tradition began in Kayseri in B. C. 2000 and contiuned until the coming of the Republic. Within this library tradition the first Bedestan library in Kayseri emerged. The fough foundation organisations, making up the Turkish-İslam culture, thousands of books were donated and because of this are available today.
