- The creation of the National Information Network of the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of Cuba has as main objective to favor the information management in all the system by means of the use of a virtual private network, WebDav and of diverse applications for the collaboration of the virtual groups, in sync or not, in the Web environment. The access of external organizations users to the system, will harness the innovation, the learning and the management of the knowledge at national scale and will contribute to the construction of a society of men of science.
