Information sources, supports, channels.</subject><description>The results obtained with the application of the model Big 6 tm for the search and organization of the information available in the area of the teaching competences are exposed based on the needs existing in this matter among the professors and students of &#x201C;Dr. Ignacio Ch&#xE1;vez&#x201D; Faculty of Biological and Medical Sciences of the University of Michoacana, in San Nicolas de Hidalgo, Mexico. Information was identified, selected, classified, analyzed, synthesized and evaluated to obtain the necessary data and information on teaching competences.
