- Goals of this document is to make an exploratory research about the national production of librarian legislation; to find out points of coincidence to actualice the current legislation and to find new topics of research. Documental compiling, basically, is getting in two publications: proceedings in Jornadas mexicanas de biblioteconomía and the Revista Investigación bibliotecológica: archivonomía, bibliotecología e información. The period of documental analysis is from 1965 until 2005. In fist moment, it made a documental chronological analysis an then it revised libraries as a right. In other way of ideas it describes each kind of libraries. It describes some questions to give some topics to make new researches.
