- Paper elaborates some stages of development librarian’s profession in Poland, starting from interwar period. Economical, social and technical changes clearly influence on education and work methods of librarians. Quick adaptation of librarians skills to changing needs of users became constant feature of this profession. Libraries working at technical universities are the best example of this situation.
