The technique provides a smarter and practical tool for further selection of resources. Beyond, other technologies associated to the XML metadata can make easy the collection planning, for example, accessing the results of the non existing materials right on an on-line bookstore, like Amazon.com, obtaining this way specific datas about the items needed to be acquired.
