- This paper which title is: “For a critique to the copyright and the police-of-copyright role of librarians” presents a critique to the copyright system and the police-of-copyright role of librarians. It details the origins of the copyright system from the England of the 16th century as a monarchical instrument for the commercial monopoly of the nascent publishing industry, and above all as an organism from the government for the sistematic censorship and control of printing and publishing.
