Finally, and based on the ammount of hybrids between Butia & Arecastrum & Syagrus, on one hand, an the modern concept of species which gives as one of the distinctive characters the common heritage, on the other, we comment the possibility of the hybridization between Butia & Arecastrum & Syagrus
