- The North Rhine-Westphalia Online Utility and Library Service Centre - hbz (http://www.hbz-nrw.de/) was launched in 1973. It provides services to libraries in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond. Hans Ollig is head of hbz. The current interview informs about hbz’s duties and objectives. It deals with the hbz union catalogue, acquisition of electronic resources via consortia and the Digital Library (DigiBib). Ongoing hbz projects are mentioned eg.
