- The purpose of this work was to identify the scientific production, position and visibility of Mexico’s General Hospital (Hospital General de México - HGM). A literature search in the following databases was conducted for the period 1990-2003, in order to obtain the hospital scientific production: ISI’s National Citation Report, MEDLINE, LILACS, ARTEMISA, PERIODICA, and CLASE.
