- SwissInfoDesk is the virtual reference desk (VRD) of the Swiss National Library launched in 2003. The articles aims to describe in details the building of an online searching tool for users interested by Switzerland. SwissInfoDesk is both a portal of information with a links directory (classified in themes and sub-themes such as history, politics, economics...)and a possibility given to users to be directly in contact with Swiss librarians. It is a multilingual VRD in four languages (German, French, Italian and Englisch).
