- This paper studies the competences of the professionals of the information. The conference analyzes the initiatives carried out in Spain to define the profile of the professionals of the archives, the libraries and the documentation centres. The article also studies the documents elaborated by professional associations. The author describes the situation of the professionals in Spain and he offers a personal decalogue on how a good professional of the information should be.
