- The process of designing and implementing a records management system in a company dedicated to building and civil engineering works is described, including how the general principles and the guidelines established in ISO 15489 standard, Information and Documentation - Records Management, have been applied in organising the central archives. This project has used the DIRKS (Designing and Implementing Recordkeeping Systems) methodology, which is structured in eight steps, from the preliminary investigation to the post-implementation review.
