- The remarkable increase of the electronic journals with full text, during the last years has change in a rather novel and revolutionary form the work at our library. The current work is about the acquisition of electronic journals, focusing the attention upon the experience acquired at Sistema de Bibliotecas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In the final section, it tackle in rather general form some issues with reference to prices and the tendencies of the electronic journals.
