  • The main goal to acquire information is to reach entire or related information under control. To reach the entire or required information on time is possible by determining access points correctly and recording them in specific order. There are several problems about arranging and reaching the information in our country. Rapid increase and size of information and obstructs in controlling entire information is the primary problem of information acquisition. Nevertheless, it neither possible nor necessary to collect whole information in one database. The important point is to reach the necessary information in a short time. The largeness of information and the variety of record environment create problems to access required information in a short period. Due to this reason, information sources are being classified to increase the correctness and speed in accessing information. In this article, Turkish Education Research Database, which was formed to access information sources like thesis and research reports about education, will be mentioned.
