- Electronic resources and digital databases are becoming integral parts of library collections. Libraries that allocate particular and special value collections are planning the digitization of these documents. Their goal is to exploit and to bring out their collections, with the use of capabilities offered by the application of new technologies. This article describes the process of digitization of a text archive that leads to the creation of a digital database with access through WWW.
