- Advantages and disadvantages of bibliographic description automation in Bulgarian libraries in case of lack of unified national standards are treated in the paper. Some ideas are suggested about make of: communicative format for bibliographic description, according to standard and certificated from FID Bulgarian edition of UDC on the basis of the middle edition of the Universal Decimal Classification and unified national subject heading system.
