- Based on a literature review, a brief historical account on Internet development is presented along with its concepts and its impact on social knowledge. The author focuses on weblogs as a communication resource in the net that allows cyberspace interaction. She gives special attention to its definition, structure, typology and evaluation. She supplies weblog directories and concludes that due to their thematic cohesion they are presented as an alternative scientific communication tool.
