- The students, after long studies, become thesis makers, this faces them to the need of producing a thesis document and to look for a tutor. To choose the thesis topic is the first problem. This is an easier task where there are scientific leaders and researches are carried out, where this is not done, to choose a topic can be more complex. A way to make it easy is by means of the introduction of curricular studies and thesis seminars. Another one is to introduce the cooperative work at the web, increasing relations between students-students, students-tutors, students-collaborators, tutors-tutors and collaborators-tutors. These work enviroments which are collaborative at web, make indispensable that thesis makers and tutors are digitally literate, premise that is not always fulfilled. For that reason, the Digital Literacy has been introduced in Cuba in the thesis seminars for students of the last years of university careers and doctor thesis and master degrees. The content is the following: Tools for the search of information in the website; providers of bibliographic references; tools for the production of digital information; creation of Personal Digital Libraries (PDL). After digitally teaching the 5th year students of Science and Technology of Food and those of Biotechnology Master Thesis, the immediate results have been: increase in several times of the amount of search for information on remote database and a discreet increase of the production of PDL.
