- According to 50's the China library automates the process of the development, this text elaborates the technical development of modern electronics and its impacts on the information and information delivering, speaially document collectting and book loan .The author makes a brief introduction of electronics publication, electronics library and virtual library.Then the author introduces the information superhighway ,points out that the library walks up inevitable trend of the information superhighway.Finally the paper gives six countermeasures to develop China library automation as follows:1)establishing the modern management thought;2)drawing up the plan of the information engineering;3)quickening to construct the bibliography resources database and the library networks;4)professional staff;5)increasing the funds devotion of the library automation construction;6) supporting good work environment.
