- Recommendations are provided, here, to meet the needs of Turkish archives for their institutionalization. The archives in the country had a long survaving tradition and rich materials. It is imperative that Turkish archives must be rejuvenated. To achieve this some new laws and by-laws should be enacted. Especially there is an urgent need for a National Archive Law.
