- The following work cuts into three main areas. It starts with the patent office DPMA (the german patent- and trademark office), its head office you can find in Munich. in the second part follows the EPA (European Patent Office). The EPA is a regional patent office, there it particularly for the region Europe responsible is. Third cut off is dedicated to the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). It is the international patent office of the three presented organizations. Within the individual sections the elaboration follows a pattern. The sections begin with a short introduction and conception of the offices. A representation of the structure follows. The procedure for the acquisition of a patent is represented. In the end a representation of an internal data base and the search possibilities takes place. These search possibilities are visualized through screenshots.
