- Based on the opening of a new site for the Seville Public Library, the thinking that took place during the setting up of the new library and which redefined the notion of what constitutes a public library service (access, friendly environment, marketing, etc.) is presented. It is hoped that other such institutions will find similar solutions faced as they are both by numerous changes due to the introduction of new media and technologies and by the difficulties that we have today of carrying out public library services in a new society.
