- From its foundation up to today, the National Library of Serbia takes care and develops its Reference Collection, which appearance, content and role in the scientifical, professional and research work of the user have been changed during the time. Those changes have imposed the creation of two new, specialized Centres. The Centre for Law Information, where all the written materials in the domain of Law and its similar scientific disciplines, official documents, electronic publications and databases are available to the user. The Centre for Librarianship regroups all the professional library materials, develops the system of scientific research and cooperation with other similar Institutions. The informative and research work within the Reference collection has contributed to the scientific and professional work of indivuduals and Institutions and in the development of the activity of the National Library of Serbia.
