- Everybody talks today about security. But, is it possible to have security without preservation? This article deals with the need to preserve for having security, focusing on the definition of preservation policies, the conceptual models to manage electronic records, the procedural models of digital archives, and the use of electronic signatures and time stamping technologies for preservation in digital archives.
