- In the analysis of the services based on digital electronic resources new specific parameters, more and more particular, are used to evaluate in a more accurate manner the usage of the same services. These indicators are oriented to evaluate and improve the efficiency of the services and to measure of the costs. We want to stress the importance of the cost/use analysis, that provides a meaningful information on the efficiency of the services, studying the balance between the rates of investments and the rates of accesses. Further parameters will be created comparing the accesses to the subscribed titles and the accesses to the non-subscribed titles for each subscriber to manage in the best way the resources within a consortium agreement.
