- This article deals with external management of Archives. This kind of practice has expanded widely among different producers of documents, whether public or private. When enterprise archives, the custody of documents by specialized enterprises is an alternative to self management; lowering costs is the great attractive of those enterprises. However, is necessary to evaluate carefully their operations, in order to determine their quality standards as well as confidentiality of personal documents.
