Contribución de Cuba a la producción científica en la temática Evaluación Sensorial (1990-2000)

  • Bibliometric study was made in the theme of Sensory Evaluation. It was used, as reference manager, the EndNote 7.0 and the RefViz 1.0. The galaxy map was obtained with more than 18 thousand bibliographic references downloaded from Food Science a Technology Abstract database from 1990 until November of 2000. Cuba relative contribution of papers increased from 1990 until 1997. After that it decreased practically to cero in reference to articles or thematic groups. The cause of that may be the development of sensory studies in Cuba or a dramatic change in research policy.
