Technical services in libraries, archives, museum.</subject><description>Selecting serial publications and databases turns out to be a very difficult task, especially in the biomedical sector due to the accelerated increase of information sources and means in this area of knowledge. In that sense, the conducting of infommetrical researches is a current trend. Within this, overlapping studies represent an useful way to determine the degree of processing that a number of publications of an specific item receive in different databases and in turn allow to find the level of exhaustivity that these present in covering the literature of an area of knowledge.
