  • Science and technology have become an activity inseparable from life and from the progress of society for some decades. Both concepts are so closely interrelated that have been considered as one, but the study of their origins reveals remarkable differences. Their definitions, characteristics and interdependence are approached aimed at formalizing both concepts pragmatically and at delimitating their spheres of action. Both, science and technology justify their existence in the search and development of products, services, means, tools and other entities that are able to meet the human needs and those of life in general.
