- A proposal for publishing a Cuban library science dictionary is made. The topic is introduced by explaining the need and importance of having a repertory of personalities, institutions, associations and publications linked with the information activity. The selection criteria taken into account in the working methodology are dealt with in detail. Besides, the dictionary is presented with a representative sample of biographies in alphabetical order and with a bibliography at the end of each entry.
