- Aimed at determining the condition of scientific research in traditional medicine field a set of bibliographic search in Medline database and Tripdatabase was carried out. The referred bibliographic search allowed a significant growth in the number of controlled clinical trial supported researches as well as evidence based medicine related researches in the last five years. In the last decade, Medline had registered about 50 000 researches in traditional medicine field. A lack of scientific researches supported by the forementioned research designs was noticed in principal and secondary disciplines of traditional medicine. The lack of enough scientific researches in the vulnerable spot to turn traditional medicine into evidence based medicine.
