- This article presents the creation and development of the Library "Jose Maria Lafragua"; as of the effort taken finished from year 1996 by the Meritorious Independent University of Puebla for the implantation of the project divided in two phases of rescue and diffusion of the Library, and development and fortification of the same one. This project is not only a sample of the interest that has the institution in conserving the bibliographical heap like Cultural Patrimony, but also a specific desire to apply and to promote the use of vanguard technologies to spread the value of the collective memory that is contained in the heap of the today Central Library University "Jose Maria Lafragua".
