- In the information society is crucial to have the access to information and to acquire and maintain the know-how, that is necessary to collect and value the information without loosing in the vast, complex and moving world of documents. School and libraries are the pivots of information society’s teaching role, in which libraries are the teaching support to schools. Cooperation between libraries and schools should augment and develop more from one side, while from the other the risk is to make less evident some fundamental distinctions that must be said to avoid a loss in identity and effectiveness for both libraries and schools.
